Hofkontor AG’s farm management organises the management of farming operations, whereby these operations are primarily within Germany. At international level Hofkontor AG is preparing its entry into the Russian market.

National raw material production is primarily for use in energy production using BIOVENTA biogas plants. Other primary materials are grown for food and animal feed production. Hofkontor AG advises farms in planning their crops and purchasing operating resources, and handles the controlling of the respective operations.

In its international farm management, Hofkontor AG concentrates most of its agricultural production on special processing. This gives the company a competitive edge over other market actors when it comes to the acquisition of new agricultural land, and enables us to be capable of more growth. The profitability of a high level of processing also makes us more competitive in plant production, and consolidates the position of the processing operation due to the stable primary material supply.

Most of the primary material thus gained is used for processing or in biogas plants, with the rest produced for the free market.
